ECOCompare Constraints

ECOCompare compares and reports changes in constraint values between two Capture DSN files.'

The changes can be immediately seen in the VISUEYES color-coded overly spreadsheet view:

Blue - in File 1 only

Red - in File 2 only

Red with Black background - constraint value changed between File 1 & File 2

Changes can be seen in color-coded sortable lists and reported in Excel-compliant text Reports.

Compare Constraints in Capture DSN Files

Compare constraint value changes between any two Capture DSN files. Compare your working file with another DSN, or compare any other two DSN files.

Find these types of changes: 

  • Value is in File 1, deleted in File 2

  • Value is not in File 1, added to File2

  • Value changes between File 1 and File 2

  • Value is the same in both Files..

Constraint Changes

Constraint changes are shown for:

 

  • Nets

  • Parts

  • Pins

  • Net User

  • Part User 

Each type of change is color-coded:

  • BLUE - only in File 1

  • RED - only in File 2

  • BLACK with RED background -

  • changed between files

  • BLACK with white background - the same in both files

Sortable Change Lists

Constraint changes are displayed in sortable lists.

Sort changes on any field.

Each type of change is color-coded.

The sortable list is cross-linked to the VISUEYES display and to your Capture DSN.

Report Constraint Changes

Report constraint changes using the CCS WYSIWYG reporting.

Drag-and-drop any fields to organize your change report without programming.

Reports can be displayed in real-time onscreen, printed, or saved to Excel-compatible text files.

Report CIS Property Changes

ECOCompare reports changes in CIS property fields.

VISUEYES Constraint Changes

VISUEYES overlays spreadsheet views of File 1 and File 2 constraint values.

Cells with changed values are highlighted by colors.

Each type of change is color-coded:

  • BLUE - only in File 1

  • RED - only in File 2

  • BLACK with RED background -

  • changed between files

  • BLACK with white background - the same in both files
